Deployment Methods

Zignal can be deployed in various ways according to the needs of any service provider.

Zignal Cloud is a fully hosted and managed version of Zignal, where service providers are able to integrate their service head-ends and back-office systems. Zignal Cloud aims to remove the complexity of setting up service, shorten time to market and lower financial barriers to entry into the market.

Zignal Enterprise is a local version installed and integrated on site with the service provider. It allows the service provider full flexibility regarding the service platform set-up.

Zignal Transition is created for service providers with existing deployments. The Zignal Transition Server helps service providers to remove the restraints of their current solution, without throwing away the investment already in place in both set-top boxes and integration work. The Transition server also allows re-purposing of content and services to new customer groups and new networks.

Zignal Embedded is a feature-complete version of Zignal that runs off a compact, self-contained platform that includes a database and application server. While Zignal Embedded does not scale or cluster, it allows for a seamless upgrade path to Zignal Enterprise.
