Role

Operations team members are responsible for the smooth running of existing systems and improvements/adjustments/expansion of systems to support growing demand.
As part of the Operations team, you will be tasked with maintenance and growth of a packet network supporting all residential services of a Triple-play operator and business data services.

This role is customer facing, but will not require you to accept calls directly from customers. You will be required to be on-call.

Requirements (Mandatory)

BA/BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience 2 year s experience in operation of mission-critical packet networks Ethernet - Switches, spanning tree , IGMP snooping IP BGP, OSPF , IGMP, PIM-SM QoS DSCP and .1p Linux or.BSD Scripting Shell, PHP, Perl or Python.

Ability to analyze network issues using standard troubleshooting tools Network monitoring/management systems Communication experience with suppliers of data transport services, equipment, equipment support services, collocation services, IP transit services Optional Optical transmission - WDM and SDH P -t-p wireless.
