Company to provide full range of design and project management services required for rollout of telecommunications networks

Following an open competition staged under the EU procurementprocess, Industria has concluded an agreement with Cork County Councilto provide the full range of design and project management servicesrequired for the rollout of telecommunications networks to 15 towns inCounty Cork.

Built under Phase 2 of the Irish Government's Regional BroadbandProgramme, the networks consist of a combination of undergroundfibre-optic cabled metropolitan area networks in the towns themselves,and the installation of microwave radio links between them to connectthem to the national fibre backbone.

Experienced accountant, auditor, analyst and manager takes over financial reins at broadband solutions provider

Associate chartered accountant William Walsh has been appointed Industria group financial controller, effective as of today.

An experienced accountant, auditor, analyst and manager, he joins the company from catering firm Aramark Ireland, a subsidiary of US-listed multinational and Fortune 500 company Aramark, where he served first as a financial accountant and later as finance manager.
