Leading broadband solutions provider Industria today announced that Nova, an Icelandic 3G and fixed convergent network operator, has launched Iceland's first purpose-built 3G network with content services provided by Industria's Zignal solution.
Nova selected Industria's Zignal Software Suite to deliver interactive content to the Nova subscribers. This includes Industria's Zignal Mobile TV solution, which enables Nova to deliver streaming TV and video and other entertainment content to mobile handsets, as well as other digital media receivers.
Today saw the launch Iceland's first purpose-built 3G network. Acting on behalf of greenfield 3G mobile network operator Nova, Industria handled all key aspects of the project.
Industria was selected by Nova to design and build the operation from the ground up.
