Successful completion of networks contracts with Southeast Region and Galway, Meath and Cork Counties

On time and on budget completion brings Industria involvement in Irish Regional Broadband Programme to over 60%

Dublin, 3 Jun 2008 —  

Network projects in the Southeast Region and Galway, Meath and Corkcounties have been successfully completed on time and on budet.Following the hand over of the completed networks to the localauthorities in each location, Quartus has been awarded two additionalprojects in the Irish Regional Broadband Programme, the MidlandsBroadband Project, Phase II and the Tuam Broadband Project. Theseprojects will be completed in the coming year, bringing the company’sshare of contracts awarded underthe Irish Government’s Regional Broadband Programme to over 60%, interms of both scale and value.

The involvement of Industria in one of the largest telecom projectsever undertaken in Ireland has spanned design, procurement and projectmanagement.
