Industria Company Profile

Industria’s mission is to make the TV viewing experience better for people. The Zignal™ innovative, user-friendly software, is Industria’s flagship product for realizing this mission, allowing operators to offer a complete array of TV services to consumers. Through its company subsidiaries, Industria offers its customers project management and network services called Digital Living™, in order to build network infrastructure to achieve an advanced TV experience.

B2B Positioning in a High-Growth Market

Industria is positioned in the high growth TV and entertainment service industry, where year-to-year growth estimates exceed 50%. Industria operates a B2B business model, selling its products and services to the global marketplace of service providers of all sizes from the company online infrastructure. Customers include entertainment and telecommunication service providers, TV and cable operators, consumer electronics producers and real-estate developers.

The current marketplace is characterized by paradigm change, where the traditional telecommunication and TV industries are rapidly converging into a single, big communications and entertainment industry. Industria is positioned to play a leading role in providing the technology to facilitate the business models that are being called for in the battle for market share between the incumbent telecoms and the TV channels.

As a by-product of the industry convergence, there is a strong re-positioning fight for the online / interactive entertainment market segment, of which IPTV is an important part. The merger of broadband and broadcast business models have resulted in companies often facing competition from “unlikely” directions, when attempting to realize the new revenue opportunities.

The traditional stakeholder equilibrium is being challenged with the advent of new end-user technology and increased broadband network speeds. New business models are being enabled by the technological shift, and Industria is instrumental in providing the solutions for them.

Industria’s business in this market is to facilitate business relationships between the stakeholders by supplying the solutions to source, distribute and monetize TV and other communication and entertainment assets in the broadband entertainment ecosystem.

Industria’s Zignal™ TV solution is positioned at the top of the IPTV service value chain and provides an excellent entry-point for selling the company’s Digital Living™ network-related solutions, as well as turn-key solutions based on both product lines.

The competitive landscape is highly fragmented, as may be expected in a high-growth industry. Even though the market is partly moved by the traditional large software companies and telecommunications solutions providers, most of the innovation is happening in a host of smaller companies.
